The tourism sector has an important place in Turkey's economy in terms of the economic growth, employment and balance of payments. Russia is one of the most important countries in tourism demand for Turkey. For this reason, the main purpose of this study is to empirically investigate the factors that affect Russia's tourism demand for Turkey. In order to explain the demand for tourism, a number of leading macroeconomic variables variables are used, which are income from Russia, tourism prices in Turkey, alternative tourism regions (Greece) tourism prices and aircraft crisis dummy variable.
