Objective: to know the women’s profile who underwent the Pap test in Primavera do Leste, Mato Grosso. Methods: the study was carried out by applying a semi-structured questionnaire, which was approved by the Ethics Committee of Research, under the number 515/705. Results: the average age was 41, and 36% have completed secondary school. Most of them work at home. Average 2 children. They were mainly examined for prevention and guidance by the medical staff. Community health workers were the professionals who guided the most about HPV. They do not like the Pap test, for feeling fear, discomfort and embarrassment.
