The materials from one of the Neolithic sites of the Middle Volga Region are analyzing by the authors of the paper. Ceramic finds from the site corresponds to the ceramic tradition of the Neolithic Kama culture in terms of the technical and typological characteristics. The peculiarities of vessel rim shapes, pattern application techniques and the nature of ornamental compositions allow to characterize the local features of the ceramic complex. The results of technical and technological analysis of the initial plastic raw materials and molding masses of vessels confirm the typological attributes of this ceramics, reflective the interactions between the carriers of the combed (Kama) tradition and the population of the Middle Volga culture wit...
