The present work is an attempt to find possible traversable wormhole solutions in static spherically symmetric space-time supported by anisotropic matter field. Part of the work could be considered as a generalization of the work in Cataldo et al. (2016) [10] in the sense that it extends the work done therein. The paper provides several examples of wormholes in anisotropic pressure and provides general mechanisms for finding them.
