The automatic transfer switch (ATS) is a medium-voltage switchgear, which can improve the reliability and quality of the power supply. The mechanical switch is an important part of the ATS based on the LC resonance, and its breaking time directly affects the overall switching time of the ATS. In order to reduce the breaking time and improve the breaking performance, the optimal design of the mechanical switch is made.
