AIM:To investigate the clinical effect of ranibizumab assisted 25G vitrectomy for proliferative diabetic retinopathy(PDR).METHODS: Totally 120 patients(120 eyes)from our hospital from October 2014 to November 2017 were selected as subjects, and randomly divided into 2 groups. Sixty patients(60 eyes)in the conventional group were treated with 25G vitrectomy alone. Sixty patients(60 eyes)in the study group were treated with ranibizumab adjuvant 25G vitrectomy. The patients were followed up for 6mo.
