The project was a development of my research interest in the relationship between colour, time and the city. In particular I was concerned to investigate the relationship between the temporality of colour and that of architecture, as a means better to understand better the fraught relationship between modern architecture and chroma. The project was commissioned by the South Bank Centre, London. It involved the programmed illumination of the two roofs of the Hayward Gallery between October 2016 and May 2017
