National Democracy was one of the main Polish political movements of the end of occupation and the interwar period. Its position was reflected by the state of the press. National Democracy constituted a political camp which created the most opinion-forming press systems of the interwar period. Conseqvently, people’s opinions were influenced by the country-wide newspapers representing the policy line of this socio-political movement, but also by the strong position of local, regional and community press titles.
