The originality of Christian eschatology is rooted in the event which is Jesus Christ. The New Testament contains three facts regarding the resurrection of Jesus Christ: a) the fact that the crucified Jesus is the same person as the risen Jesus; b) the crucified Jesus lives, he rose from the dead to a new life, entirely different from our life here on earth; c) through resurrection Jesus was raised to the right hand of the Father, he has become the "Lord" and "Savior" of the people and the world.
