Six replicates of passage 10 imAPAD mir-196aKD, imAPAD-Con, imGPAD mir-196aKD and imGPAD-Con pre-adipocytes were harvested in Tri-reagent. Cells were harvested on day 3 after plating and were sub-confluent. RNA was isolated using the mirVana miRNA Isolation Kit (Life Technologies). RNA concentration was assessed using the Nanodrop ND-1000 spectrophotometer and by RiboGreen® assay and samples were normalised to give 100ng RNA in a total volume of 11 μl.
