This paper made quantitative analysis on the plant landscape classification in Nanjing Mochouhu Park by means of questionnaire and scenic beauty estimation(SBE) method in order to determine the existing problems of plant landscape.Besides,it proposed the optimization method and suggestion.The research found out that the plant types were multiple in Mochouhu Park and the spatial arrangements and layers were not quite apparent.Even more some plant sceneries appeared to deteriorate.The higher evaluations among the botanic scenery were mainly those with various plant types,rich colors,healthy growth,multiple and apparent spatial arrangements
