Associated with the pathogenesis of many cancers, including brain tumors, microRNAs (miRNAs) present promising diagnostic biomarkers. These molecules have been also studied in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), showing great potential as a diagnostic tool in patients with brain tumors.
