In attempt to give a nobler destiny of ornamental rock residue, in order to expand the use of ceramic paver, clayey bodies were formulated with 0, 10, 20 and 30 wt.% of waste by uniaxial pressure at 34 MPa. The samples were fired at 900, 950, 1000 and 1050 °C and some technological properties were evaluated. The results indicated that the residue addition adjusted the clayey body plasticity and increased the dry bulk density, indicating a higher packing. The linear shrinkage suffered a decline with increasing residue content, configuring a good result, because it is important for products dimensional control. Although there was a decrease in mechanical resistance, the water absorption presented a small decrease with the addiction of residue...
