Myopia and its complications

According to the data of World Health Organization, weak sight at uncorrected anomalies of refringence is one of the main directions of liquidation of preventable blindness to the 2020. The article presents the review of present-day literature devoted to the etiology, pathogenesis of myopia and its complications. Data of Russian and foreign researchers are presented.
