The past two decades have witnessed soaring interest in the field of non-coding RNAs, largely attributed by its regulatory role in controlling two third of human transcriptional output. Though, there are several classes of non-coding RNAs found in nature, microRNAs takes the central stage because of their pleiotropic roles.
