Neo-Ottomanist Hegemonic Order and its Implications on Ankara’s Foreign Policy in the Balkans

Probably the first questions that arise when one starts to depict Turkish foreign policy (TFP) towards the Balkans are ‘what does Turkey really do in the region and what does it really want to achieve?’ which practically means that research may focus on the tools and the object of Ankara’s external ambitions.
