PROSES KOMUNIKASI TERAPEUTIK BIDAN DALAM MEMOTIVASI PASIEN (Studi Pada Ibu Hamil Trisemester Akhir di Klinik Daqu Sehat Malang)

This study discusses the process of therapeutic communication of midwives in motivating late trimester pregnant women at the Healthy Daqu Clinic in Malang, by reviewing each phase of the therapeutic communication process used by midwives in motivating late trimester pregnant women. Actions to motivate late trimester pregnant women in the Healthy Daqu Clinic Malang, depending on the complaints suffered by the last trimester pregnant woman. The theory used in this study is the theory of action preparation by John Greene. This theory states that in forming a message, it requires knowledge and actions that midwives will do to the last trimester pregnant woman. And Jouhari Window's theory of interpersonal communication, this theory states that in creating a good communication relationship, the need for disclosure of information or opening up between midwives and the last trimester pregnant women. The research method used is descriptive type with a qualitative approach. This study uses total sampling in determining the subject because the subjects are four people. Data obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data collection, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that the therapeutic communication process at the Malang Healthy Daqu Clinic took place when the last trimester pregnant woman met with a midwife (face to face). The four midwives use all phases of the therapeutic communication process, namely the pre-interaction phase, orientation phase, work phase, and termination phase. However, when a serious complaint occurs the midwife immediately takes a nursing action after the last trimester pregnant woman complains about what she feels.
