TINJAUAN TERHADAP PENEGAKAN KODE ETIK PROFESI POLRI (STUDI KASUS DI POLRES LAMONGAN)

Currently there are still members of the National Police who violate the code of ethics. Polri members should as state servants must obey the law and not violate the rules that have been set. The undisciplined and unprofessional members of the Indonesian National Police will have a very bad impact on public trust. This research takes the formulation of the problem regarding the form of violation of the code of ethics, the types of violations that occur in the Lamongan Police Station and Law Enforcement for violations of the code of ethics. This study uses a sociological juridical approach. Primary data sources were obtained from Lamongan Regional Police, secondary data sources were obtained from legislation, journals, legal literature relating to the object under study, and tertiary data sources obtained from encyclopedias, dictionaries and others. Data collection techniques in the form of interviews with Respondents at Lamongan Police Station. Data from the research results were analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of the study within 4 years, from 2015 to 2018 violated the code of ethics in the form of Dark Deception, Domestic Violence, Narcotics, Violations of Discipline More than 3 times and KKEP carried out if there were members of the Indonesian National Police who violated the code of conduct PERKAP number 14 of 2011 concerning the Indonesian National Police Code of Ethics. In conclusion, there are still violations committed by members of the Indonesian National Police and the KKEP trial is carried out if there are police officers who commit violations. Suggestion is that there is a socialization regarding the importance of the Code of Ethics so that Police Members can minimize violations that occur. The police chief is more monitoring the performance carried out by members of the National Police whether according to applicable rules or not
