ATP accelerates LPS-induced NO production and iNOS expression.

(A) NO production in J774.1 cells was evaluated by measuring the metabolite nitrite (NO2-) in culture supernatants using the Griess assay. The cells were treated with LPS (1 μg/ml) in the presence or absence of ATP (1 mM) for 24 h (*P P P < 0.05). (A, C, and D) Data represent means ± S.D. of triplicate determinations.
