Although contemporaneity has brought the development, the presence and the use of new communication and entertainment platforms, in Brazil television remains the most consumed mass media among children and adolescents. In this scenario, 75.4% of children and adolescents recognize the existence of an inappropriate content that they should not see. Thus, this article aims to reveal the current scenario of programs offered for children and adolescents of the country’s largest audience TV channel, Rede Globo, a Brazilian free-to- air TV based in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
