Sustained activation of AKT and ERKs signaling pathways in <i>Cyp1b1-/-</i> LSEC.

The activation of various signaling pathways were examined by Western blot analysis of cell lysates prepared from Cyp1b1+/+ and Cyp1b1-/- LSEC as detailed in Methods. Please note an increase in the levels of phosphorylated AKT (p-AKT) and ERK (p-ERK), and a decrease in p-JNK in Cyp1b1-/- cells. The levels of phosphorylated Src (p-Src416 and p-Src527) and MAPK p38 (p-p38) were not affected. Similar levels of total proteins were observed in both cell types. These experiments were repeated with two isolations of LSEC with similar results.
