MCP-1 protein levels were decreased in lungs of CDH fetuses treated with rosiglitazone (CDH+R) compared to CDH fetuses exposed to placebo only (CDH+P), as demonstrated by western blotting. This was accompanied by a significantly reduced number of pulmonary monocytes/macrophages, shown by ED1 immunohistochemistry. Scale bar 50 μm.</p
