Mean flow deficits percentage (FD%) plotted against the distance from the fovea for two optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) acquisition protocols (3 x 3 m and 6 x 6 mm). When divided by different age groups, the linear trendlines of the respective curves appear to have different intercepts and slopes; in particular, the 61–80 years group has a higher intercept and a lower slope meaning that in this group the FD% tends to be higher overall, and even more so as one approaches the foveal center.</p
