ABSTRACT The present study aimed to evaluate the implantation of Schistosomiasis Control Program (PCE) actions in three municipalities of Zona da Mata, state of Pernambuco. A normative evaluation was conducted, and semi-structured interviews were carried out with health surveillance and primary health care professionals. The results found show that the studied municipalities obtained the degree of not implemented. The most critical points identified were related to health education activities and management deficiencies. However, it is important to highlight that, in the three municipalities evaluated, it was possible to perceive a relevant involvement of primary care in the PCE's actions.</p
