Prostate cancer has become a Public Health problem, being the malignant neoplasm with the highest incidence rate in Brazilian men. Will be estimated, for the years of 2014 and 2015, 302,350 cases of cancer in males, of which 68,800 (22.8%) are from prostate cancer. The State of Espírito Santo is among the 7 Brazilian States with the highest incidence, with an estimated 1,580 cases of prostate cancer per year, reflecting an incidence rate of 88.72/100,000 inhabitants.
