Stability, size and shape are among the main factors influence the effectiveness of drugs in powder form. Crystalline particles have high stability however, manufacturing of crystalline particle in certain size and shape is challenging. This thesis investigated the potential of counter current spray dryer for manufacturing crystalline particle and developed a theoretical model for prediction of surface structure of crystalline particles
