Security of Cloud IAAS, DAAS Services using Encryption, Obfuscation Techniques: A Review

Cloud computing is technique, where a large group of systems are connected to private or public networks, where user can store his data on trusted remote systems and uses the data on-demand, anytime, everywhere. Security in Cloud computing can be addressed in many directions viz. authentication, integrity, Code Obfuscation, Data Obfuscation, confidentiality and many more. As the user lost the control on data, may worried about the alteration/deletion of date. Similarly, a Cloud service provider needs to provide the enough security to user’s data which may be processed on their premises as well database which manage group of users. Encryption and Obfuscation are the good technique by which a user as well the cloud provider can ensure security and keep their data secure from entrusted parties. In this paper we make literature survey on Encryption as well obfuscation techniques for Cloud computing and review current practices as well as applications. We refer different Obfuscation techniques which work with database related to protection ofintellectual property.
