B. pseudomallei L1, P1 and H777 biofilms were grown in LB at 37°C. The biofilms were treated with DNase I (0.01 U/mL) at 0 h and 24 h post-seeding and maintained until 48 h. The 2-day biofilm architecture and quantity of eDNA were examined after staining with FITC-ConA (green) and TOTO-3 (red), respectively. The scale bars indicate 10 μm.
