Vaccination with islet Ag-KLH delays T1D onset in NOD mice.

9-week old female NOD mice were injected with 100 μg islet Ag-KLH (i.v.) and, on day 4 and 8, 0.5 mg rat IgG or anti-IL-7Rα antibodies (i.p.). Mice were followed until 43 weeks of age for diabetes onset. (A) Kaplan-Meier plot shows percentage diabetic mice in function of age within each treated group (n = 10), as well as incidence in our untreated NOD colony (n = 30).
