The numbers of participants with 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 metabolic syndrome components were 4,818 (28.0%), 4,442 (25.8%), 3,733 (21.7%), 2,439 (14.2%), 1,378 (8.0%), and 389 (2.3%) in the Non-PO group; 1,130 (16.8%), 1,559 (23.2%), 1,629 (24.2%), 1,367 (20.3%), 778 (11.6%), and 264 (3.9%) in the NS-PO group; and 291 (13.7%), 461 (21.7%), 532 (25.1%), 433 (20.4%), 290 (13.7%), and 113 (5.4%) in the Severe PO group, respectively (P < 0.001).
