(A-E) Relative expression levels of oocyte-specific genes including Lhx8, Nobox, Sohlh2, Figla and Kitl in newborn mouse ovaries derived from the control and STZ-treated groups. The expression levels were normalized against β-actin. Noteworthy, STZ treatments in the pregnant mice significantly increase the expression level of Lhx8, Nobox, Sohlh2 (P<0.01) and Figla (P<0.05) in the newborn mouse ovaries. Samples from 5 individual mice were analyzed.</p
