Russian Twitter Election Interference 2015-2018

The data in this assignment is a collection of tweets that were determined to come from the Internet Research Agency, which is a Russian troll farm that sought to interfere in the United States presidential election in 2016. The dataset contains the tweets of approximately 2,848 twitter accounts that were gathered by researchers at Clemson University and a total of 2,973,371 tweets. The subset of the data that I focused on in this work are the tweets from those twitter accounts that are related through Granger causality throughout 2016. The accounts were selected by performing Granger analyses on all pairs of twitter accounts based on tweets from 2016 and extracting those accounts that had p-values of less than 0.05. The final data set contained 253,509 tweets from 10 twitter accounts
