The aim of this study was to investigate the gene expression and histopathological changes that occur 1) within the deep digital flexor tendon (DDFT) after injury to the superficial digital flexor tendon (SDFT) and 2) within the flexor tendons (SDFT and DDFT) after injury to the extensor tendons.
