Work on the unidentified Iowa moss material in the herbarium of the State University has brought to light a number of forms that are worthy of note. This collection of mosses, a small part of which is here reported, is the accumulation of many seasons\u27 work, and nothing has been published concerning it excepting Dr. T. E. Savage\u27s list and the very short lists by Dr. Shimek and the writer published in 1915
