Hospital Ward at Giessen

French orderlies provide care for the sick and wounded Allied prisoners in a hospital ward at Giessen. The beds are full of recovering soldiers and the ward is well heated by the large stoves in the center aisle of the building. While many of the patients can sit up for the photo, one of the African prisoners appears quite ill.
