A new discrete element method is developed to study the dynamic movement of a flexible fibers in interaction. The fiber model is represented by a chain of rigid bodies connected together by joints. This work is about the 3-D dynamic modeling of a dynamic of fibers using recursive algorithms based on the Newton-Euler equations of the articulated body system and irregular dynamic contact models which is adapted to fiber model. The direct dynamic model gives the joint accelerations as a function of the joint positions, velocities and accelerations. This method guarantees a facility of implementation, fast resolutions and high numerical stability and has a good convergence rate.
