In this study, it is aimed to define protective and restorative effects of Momordica charantia (bitter melon) extracts (MCE), which are commonly used in pythotherapy aganist DNA damage inducted with hydrogenperoxide, in Saccharomyces cerevisiae, from eucaryotic cells, in vivo contitions. In this purpose, haploid Saccharomyces cerevisiae BY4741 (MATa his 3Δ1 leu2 Δ0 met15Δ0 ura3Δ0) strains were used.
