Unclaimed estate inheritance is a critical issue. Main factor that causes this issue is heir’s attitude towards the inheritance settlement. The problem of ‘layered death’ among heirs is a major issue that contibutes to the increasing number of unclaimed inheritance estates. The objective of this article is to review the estate distribution method in the ‘layered death’ or known as ‘munāsakhāt’. For this purpose, this article highlights Shubbāk’s theory as basic discussion. This paper employed qualitative approach. The data is obtained through library method and descriptive analysis.
