This paper extends the scope of the review to include additional material and to consider the implications of these findings for the use of interactive multimedia in higher education. The perspectives of three main groups of stakeholders are considered - managers, teachers and students. Some of the factors relating to the needs and interests of these groups, which contribute to the successful use of interactive videodisc and multimedia in higher education, are examined.
