Background: Obesity is a global epidemic with nearly 650 million people affected. The increase in morbidity and mortality as well as the inherent health expenses have encouraged the emergence of a global and preventive approach with the implementation of therapeutic education programs. Objective: To evaluate the effect of the participation of obese people in the therapeutic education program proposed by the Regional Health Center of Carpentras on their quality of life and their risk of premature mortality.Method: Retrospective, single-center epidemiological study, including a population of 19 obese from November 2016 to July 2018.
