Two awkward kilns failed to function and were quickly abandoned. The local gray monochrome vases are badly cooked and of poor quality. So, the production development could not occur. This surprising discovery, which is the only available evidence in the South of France for the native world, raises the question about the access of natives to their own turned pottery productions, yet considered acquired from the middle of the 6th century.L'atelier d'un potier indigène au Mas de Pascal, daté autour de 500 av.
