Purpose This research focuses on the effect of motivational techniques on job performance within a small restaurant - 'The West Highland Gate'. The main aim of the research is to recognise the influence of different individual motivational techniques currently implemented with the organisation on employee job performance. Design/Methodology/Approach Firstly the research presents secondary research of previous literature surrounding the subject of motivation and job performance.
