The purpose of this research is to determine the sand mold’s impacts on the sand’s permeability,shrinkage, porosity, density, hardness value, microstructure, and chemical composition. This research perfomed using furnace Aluminum left overs, with the variations of red sand, black sand, silica sand mold’s The analysis of the data results that the black sand’s mold has the lowest permeability at 59,667 cmᵌ/minute, red sand’s mold is 78,667 cmᵌ/minute and silica sand’s 93,667 cmᵌ/minute.
