Preliminary geologic map of the Lake of the Woods South 7.5' quadrangle, Klamath County, Oregon

The dataset includes the digital raster Graphic (DRG) of the 1985 provisional edition of the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) 7.5' Lake of the Woods South quadrangle, which provides the base map on top of which geospatial vector format geologic units layers, vector format unit boundaries/contacts, collected cted and analyzed sample location layers, faults, and volcanic centers layers have been placed. The geologic units and their boundaries were determined based on a combination of field observations and hand sample, thin-section, and geochemical analyses and observations of 153 samples collected from within the Lake of the Woods South USGS 7.5' quadrangle as well as relevant samples collected from adjacent quadranglesGeochemistry -- Map sheets -- Metadata --Spatial data -- Text (on screen pdf) -- Text (print pdf) -- Catalog of Dept.
