Iodine deficiency – a problem for the entire territory of Ukraine. It varies only in severity – from mild on the East, South and centre of the country, to moderate and severe in the mountain areas of the Carpathians. The preventive actions must be permanent, because iodine deficiency is impossible to eliminate, as the environmental problem. The world and domestic experience shows that the cessation of prevention leads to the fast increasing of the frequency of iodine deficiency diseases in the population
