Cette thèse a pour objectif d'analyser les origines de la pseudo-histoire mythique des invasions d'Irlande : les sources classiques antiques ou judéo-chrétiennes de ce cycle légendaire, les survivances indigènes, le processus d'élaboration et sa signification socio-politique.
