En dehors de son rôle dans la régulation de la balance hydrosodée, le récepteur minéralocorticoïde (MR) est un facteur de transcription hormono-dépendant qui exerce des effets pro-adipogéniques et anti-thermogéniques in vitro, mais son rôle dans la régulation du métabolisme énergétique in vivo n’a jamais été précisément étudié. Dans ce travail, nous avons montré que les souris surexprimant le MR humain (Tg) ont une résistance à l’obésité induite par le régime hyperlipidique.
