International audienceI review here the status of tests of discrete symmetries in nuclear beta decay, including neutron decay. The focus is given on tests of maximal parity violation, tests of time reversal invariance as well as searches for parity and time reversal invariant exotic interactions. Along with the most sensitive results, I present also some recent achievements of precision beta decay experiments as well as selected ongoing project
