Ce travail porte sur la réception d’Apulée (IIe siècle de notre ère) dans la littérature italienne du XXe siècle, et plus précisément sur le cas d’Alberto Savinio (1891-1952). L’étude de la relation entre les deux auteurs a été abordée selon une perspective interdisciplinaire ayant pour but de faire interagir le point de vue des études italiennes avec celui de la philologie latine. Cette recherche concerne la manière dont Alberto Savinio a lu et « réécrit » les Métamorphoses d’Apulée, roman aussi connu sous le titre de L’Âne d’or.
