Ce travail de recherche, réalisé en collaboration avec l'équipe cycliste professionnelle Bouygues Telecom, a pour objectif d'étudier les facteurs aérodynamiques et biomécaniques influant sur les performances de cyclistes en course contre la montre (CLM). L'effort de traînée aérodynamique représente 90% de la puissance développée par le coureur en CLM. Les essais expérimentaux ont été réalisés dans la soufflerie S1L l'institut des Sciences du Mouvement qui a permis de mesurer l'effort de traînée subit par les coureurs en fonction de leur posture et du matériel utilisé. L'analyse par planimétrie de la surface frontale projetée des cyclistes en position de CLM a permis de définir un modèle estimant la surface frontale en fonction de différents...
